Sheila Eskenazi and Joseph Graham live on the edge of a field that was a part of a farmer’s pasture first cleared in the 1800s. Below the field, our homestead fronts on a small lake. We have been feeding ourselves fresh produce and growing most of our own meat here since we built our home in 1978. We call home l’Arpent Perdu and our two sons and daughters-in-law, Jonah and Tracy, David and Mishiel, as well as our grandchildren, all have a place here when they choose to use it.
Ballyhoo means blatant self-promotion and we first used it as the name of a newsletter. It is now simply the name of our website, where we attempt to share our news and projects with our many friends. You can reach either of us by sending an email to the site name, prefixed with joseph@ or sheila@. We invite your comments and suggestions.
